1. How do I track my parcel?

Once you have placed your order, a confirmation email will be sent detailing that your order has been dispatched and will display your tracking number.


2. How do I place my order?

There are a number of ways you can place your order, you can call us on 0800 270 7 250, place an order online at, email your order to [email protected], or fax your order to 01622 678827.


3. What are your delivery prices? 

Orders over £100 (Excluding VAT):-

FREE of charge, 3-5 Day Delivery Service

Orders under £100 (Excluding VAT):-

Standard Packaging & Delivery is charged at £5.95.

Next Working Day is charged at £8.95

4. Where is Alpha Electronics?

Alpha Electronics have three branches, Maidstone (Kent), Manchester and Newport (South Wales). You can find further details on our contact us page.


5. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit/debit cards and PayPal. Payments can be made online at our website or by calling our Sales team on 0800 270 7 250. If you have a credit account you can place your order by email or fax with your purchase order.


6. Can I order multiple items on the website?

Yes, we have an online shopping cart which allows you to place multiple items.


7. I can’t seem to find your address on the website?

Our branch addresses can be found on our contact us page.


8. What are your delivery times?

We offer a next day delivery service for in-stock items for all orders received before 1400hrs. Any orders received after this time will be dispatched the following day.  Out of Stock items will be dispatched as soon as they are received into our warehouses. You will be notified of any delays with your order.

A Delivery will be made by us to the place designated by you on your accepted order and will normally be made during normal business hours: 0900 to 1730 hours GMT.  Deliveries will be made by our own in house Logistics Team or by InterLink and a signature is required on arrival. Once the goods have been received and signed for, this becomes the responsibility of the customer.


9. Can equipment be delivered on the same day as the order?

If possible, we can deliver the equipment to you on the same day as the order at a negotiable price. Please contact one of our Sales Advisors on 0800 270 7 250 with your requirements. 


10. What if I have a specific question about a piece of equipment?

Call one of our friendly team on 0800 270 7 250 and you will be directed to the best Technical Advisor.


11. Can I open a Credit Account?

Any company can open a credit account, simply call 0800 270 7 250 and ask them to send you a credit account application form. The form should be completed and returned either via email or fax. Once our Adminstration Teams have received the account application form a full credit history check will be carried out on your company. Providing all information is satisfactory, you will then be issued with an account number.


12. Is credit information secure?

Yes, we use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocols for establishing an encrypted link between our web servers and your browser, to ensure your card details and any other information remains private and integeral.

14. What if I can’t find the item I’m looking for ?

15. Can I extend my Hire Period ?

There is no issue with extending your hire period providing the equipment is available. You should contact the Hire Team and notify them as soon as possible by email - [email protected] After the initial weekly hire charge the item is put onto a daily rate which is a fifth of the weekly hire rate, we do not charge in weekly blocks like other hire companies, you only pay for what you have used.


16. Can you collect items from an alternative address?

Items can be collected from alternative addresses; it doesn’t have to be from the original delivery address. You must notify Alpha Electronics at the time of off hire as the collection address always defaults to the original delivery address.


17. Do you provide Calibration Certificates with all your hire items?

Calibration certificates are provided with all our hire items where appropriate.


18. Do you offer technical advice?
