  •   Complete certificates on-site as you go or store the data until you get back to the office.
  •   Send results from your MFT1731 multifunction tester direct to the correct location on the certificate
  •   Reduces transcription error
  •   Increase productivity
  •   Saves you hours of form filling

Completing a test certificate could not be easier.

Simply take a measurement with the MFT1731, then either store the result for download later to a PC, or output the result directly, there on-site, using Bluetooth technology.

When using the on-site option, the cell on the highlighted circuit on the device is automatically populated with the result.

Following full testing on a system, all results held on a notebook or laptop device can be downloaded into PowerSuite and a certificate generated. A benefit of using a mobile device in this way is that all other data for the system can be stored with the results, such as client, address, circuit descriptions and earthing arrangements, with no need for paper records.

An alternative with the MFT1731 is that results are stored in the instruments own large internal memory for 1000 test results, which can then be downloaded fully into PowerSuite once back in the office for certificate generation when the job is finished.

MFT1731 - The most sophisticated of the 17th Edition testers brings Type B RCD testing, 3-pole earth electrode testing to a downloading and rechargeable instrument.

Additional benefits are that is supplied in a large soft, carry case with sufficient space for the tester, test leads and some tools. The MFT1731 has enabled additional earth electrode testing options such as 3-pole ART electrode testing and stakeless electrode testing. The clamps are optional accessories.

All instruments are IEC 61010 CAT IV 300 V rated for connection to low voltage systems with no protective device, so safe for connection anywhere on the system right up to the source transformer without risk of damage from large transient spikes.

The unique modern styling allows it to be operated while stood on the floor, a ladder-shelf or platform, hung around the neck or handheld. Dual TEST and LOCK buttons - one pair at each end - makes the testers easy to operate left or right handed.

Quick to pick up and use, the controls are colour coded to make range selection easy and fast. They also reduce the chance of using the wrong function or range. The large crystal clear backlit display uses the patented Megger digital/analogue arc, providing indication of fluctuating readings while the dual digital readout shows precise values of key measurements simultaneously with the test parameters, such as the output voltage on insulation testing as well as the resistance value in MΩ.

Visible and audible safety warnings are paramount when testing high-energy systems and the MFT1700 series includes full input protection and safety warnings when a hazardous voltage is present. If live voltages exist on a circuit during insulation or continuity testing, the voltage is displayed on the screen. If this voltage exceeds a safe level, further testing is inhibited and a warning beep sounds.

The MFT1731 features internally rechargeable batteries and charger with a charge time of less than 4 hrs, so reducing the cost of ownership.
